Geothermal
Heating and Air
Geothermal heat pumps are heating and cooling systems that use the earth's relatively constant temperature to provide heating, cooling and water heating for homes and commercial buildings.
Sometimes referred to as Ground Source heat pumps, geothermal systems are either open- or closed-loop systems and can be installed vertically, horizontally, and even in an existing pond or lake. The type chosen depends on available land area at the installation site. Closed loop systems circulate water through high density polyethylene pipe buried deep below the earth's surface, providing cooling in the summer and heating in the winter and up to 70% of domestic hot water. Open loop systems pump water out of a well and through the geo, system providing heating and cooling and hot water. Because water is being used as the heat transfer medium instead of air, geothermal heat pumps are four times more efficient than conventional systems and can cut energy cost in half, saving money and cutting back substantially on carbon emissions! more info

Solar
Solutions
Our solar heating systems are designed around Apricus evacuated tube solar collectors and have a number of energy efficient applications. The solar collector absorbs solar energy and converts it to usable heat energy. The heat absorbed by the collector can be used for domestic hot water heating, radiant floor heating, "auxiliary"" heating in forced air systems, or fully independent whole house heating instead of gas furnaces or heat pumps. After the water is heated by the collector, it is stored in a tank or tanks near the existing (back up) hot water heater ready for usage. In some applications the solar collector can be used for space cooling through a process called absorption or through desiccant cooler technology.
Traditional
Heating and Air Solutions
In
addition to Geothermal Heating and Air Conditioning
systems, Engineered Services Cooperative also installs
and maintains conventional systems. Regardless of the
brand, ESC has the experience and the technology to
service your residential and commercial heating and air systems.
Duct
Installation and Maintenance
Even
with the most energy efficient systems, unclean and
poorly designeed ductwork can decrease the efficiency of
your system. Our professional duct cleaning service
can ensure this doesn't become an issue. |
